I wanted to make your Parishioners aware that I have an allocation of money from Derbyshire County Council within the Members Community Leadership Scheme to financially support groups within my constituency and enquire whether you are aware of any groups within your Parish that are struggling and require assistance, particularly during this worrying pandemic.
A brief outline of what the money can be spent on, for example, are the purchase of equipment, sports kits, play equipment, office equipment, food hampers, possibly starting up a new group or if a group is struggling during Covid-19 I may be able to help financially. If you are aware of any groups within your Parish that require financial assistance please let me know or ask them to email me direct at pat.murray@derbyshire.gov.uk.
All applications are welcome and, if they meet the criteria, shall be processed accordingly, a stipulation is that the Group applying for funding has its own bank account as Derbyshire County Council cannot make a payment to an individual.
